Common questions
Is this safe?

Yes! This uses Microsoft's official DISM and SFC tools that come with Windows. We just made them easier to use.

Will this delete my files?

No. This only repairs Windows system files. Your documents, photos, and programs stay exactly as they are.

How long does it take?

Usually 10-30 minutes total. Older computers might take longer. You can use your computer while it runs.

What if it says "Admin privileges required"?

You need to right-click the file and choose "Run as administrator" instead of just double-clicking it.

What if I'm not connected to the internet?

The repair step needs internet to download fresh files from Microsoft. Connect to wifi or ethernet before running the tool.
